I promise you this film is worth watching!! My family and I were able to attend the premiere of this at the Chinese Theater and it was amazing to see how it all came together!!  It made us laugh, cry and smile!!! The story line and quality of the film was super!!  Everyone in the film was amazing!! I feel lucky to have had a little part in this film!! If you go to watch it....you will see me almost at the very end of the film (I'm wearing a wig...look close) ! ;)

Hollywood Premiere of "Odd Brodsky"

Last night was a complete BLAST!!!
"Odd Brodsky" a film that I was apart of was finally premiering in Hollywood last night!! :)
It was playing at the Chinese Theatre!! It just so happens that is the 2nd one of my films that has been shown there....so that was pretty exciting!! :)

We got our Tickets we are ready to see "Odd Brodsky" 

I was also excited to be able to share the night with my two loves my Hubby Jared and Daughter Kelsey.  I appreciate their support with all of my adventures thus far!! The  cool part was that in the film there is a part where their is a collage of pictures....and well Jared and Kelsey are in it!! We totally saw them on the big screen too!! So cool!

The film was awesome!! If you ever have a chance to check it out....it's a must see!!  Odd Brodsky is a comedy type film about following your dreams!! Congrats to everyone who was apart of this project, It was very well done!!   I feel very lucky to have been apart of it!!  Thank you Cindy Baer for allowing me to be apart of this project!! It was a super great time!!

I just heard that another film I was lucky enough to be apart of, Odd Brodsky..... will be screening in June 2014!!  It will be screening at the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood....and this will make film #2 for me that has been shown there....I feel so lucky!! :)   I played a Moviegoer, to spot me you will have to look hard....I'm wearing my wig!! hehe.

Odd Brodsky going to the Mill Valley Film Festival 36

So exciting!!
I just heard that Odd Brodsky, a comedy film that I was apart of will be going to have it's world premiere at the  Mill Valley Film Festival in October 2013!!  This is pretty exciting because  it was 1 of 21 U.S. Features to be shown at this Film Festival !!

Congrats to all the cast and crew for all the hard work and dedication!  There are so many people in this film that are amazing in their craft!! I'm excited I got to be apart of this project!!

Here is a little info about the film:

Cindy Baer (Purgatory House, MVFF 2004) explores the hopes and aspirations of a recent oddball transplant to Los Angeles in her whimsical, quirky comedy about following your dream. When Audrey Brodsky is born, her parents recognize a new little artist in the world. As a girl, Audrey (nicknamed Odd) is perpetually optimistic, and gamely jumps into the pursuit of a life in art. After attempts at singing, piano, painting, dancing and violin fall short, she discovers drama—and a vision of her future is born. Fast-forward to her early 20s: Audrey hitchhikes from Hollywood, Iowa, to Los Angeles with a backpack and an endearing optimism. There, our lovable loser with a big heart takes a steady day job until she finally musters the courage to quit and become an actress. Super Pooper Girl

So....the other day this old Hannah Montana Song came on my iPod called "Super Girl".
The funny thing is, everything I hear that darn song I thought she should be saying
Super Pooper Girl.

We were on our way home for our photoshoot and I said to my Daughter.....we should totally make
our own song up.  Like re-write the lyrics!

We had a BLAST re-writing the lyrics....we were cracking up so much!!

Anyways...we couldn't just stop at just that!! We ended up putting together a sing along music video!

On September 21, 2011 I had the opportunity to work on set of "Odd Brodsky". The Director of this film is Cindy Baer. A very hard working lady in the film industry.  She had an amazing crew helping her out too!! ;) The super nice and talented Jim Hanks was also a part of this film. You might have also seen him in such films as Purgatory House and many many more!  Very cool! ;) There are tons of talent in this film with him!! Just wait till you see!

 Let the Fun Being.....

Here is a little bit about the story:

Audrey Brodsky (aka “Odd” Brodsky) is a lovable loser who quits the security of her job to pursue a lifelong dream of becoming a famous actress!

There's just one problem...

She's not very good.

But what she lacks in talent,

she makes up for in heart.

It’s a wacky, little adventure about following your dreams, learning to accept yourself, and finding the magic in life.

 

Director: Cindy Baer not only did she direct, but was also acting! Multi-talented and super sweet! 

 It was great fun. We were at the La Emmie's Music Hall in Beverly Hills, CA.  I got to work with some more amazingly talented people!!  Thanks to everyone for making the night super fun!
