I recently donated one of my signed photos from the TV show I'm in "8.13" 8.13 Website
 for a super good cause!

"Fix The Chapel"

This is a big deal because this chapel was part of the movie "Night of the Living Dead" from 1968.  It's become quite the cinematic icon over the years. They are wanting to tear it down! So in order to not have that happen, they are raising money through donations and auction items to get enough to remodel it!

I would like to thank everyone who spread the word about the auction. Also to the people who donated and bid on the picture! I sure appreciate your support and help on saving this piece of horror film history! I was happy to see it go for $31.00...Very cool! Thanks guys!!

Just wanted to say a BIG THANK You to the people who always keep track of me and the projects I do!! Here is a super happy update I have to share....

Remember back in January I told you that I was involved with "Fix the Chapel" yes...the chapel from the movie "Night of the Living Dead"?

WELL because of your support and donations the chapel is in the process of being fixed!!! WAHOOO!! ;)

Small but a very important part of the process has started. Getting the porch roof back up to where it needs to be so work can start on the rest of the roof and box gutters. See the supports in place at the cemetery today. 

 Yes folks the chapel will be saved.

What a super fun day the 12th of November turned out to be!  I got to film a super fun Doritos Commercial with some amazingly  talented people! ;)
I was so super happy to get a chance to work on a project with my Daughter, Kelsey Shoup
( Kelsey Shoup Web Site Link )  She was such a super sport and did a super job! This was a very special gig because I had my little buddy working with me!

We sure did our fair share of just laughing our asses off.  It was so much fun to see people's reactions as they saw us working on set....haha. I will never forget Jessica's now famous jump and point....awww!! ;) hehe!

Would like to give a shout out to all the amazing people that made this possible!  It's amazing how many crew members it takes to put productions on....no one ever sees them, but I sure appreciate them.  Thanks to Carlos Carrasco, Alex Waltuch, Ken Waters, Brenda Fies and our Amazing MUA Matthew and Cynthia!

To all the actors.....it was a pleasure to work with you!! It was great to make something so creative!  Best of luck to everyone in the future!

My Daughter Kelsey Shoup and I got a chance to work a short film with 2 of our favorite ladies in horror Brenda Fies (Director), and Elisabeth Fies (Camera Woman, Producer).  The film we worked on is titled "Better than Bullies".  My Daughter plays Martha, a nerdy girl getting bullied and picked on by some fellow class mates. I did voice over work for this film, I play Martha's Mom.

This film really did touch our hearts!  Everyone has been bullied at some point in their life. I was bullied as a kid and my Daughter has had to deal with it already too!  It's something that sadly, won't be going out of style anytime soon. It's sad to know there are so many kids/adults out there that are directly effected by bulling!  Some people can get pass it on their own, while others might feel stuck in a rut...that there is no hope but to give up!  This film is a good way to make kids think about it from a different view.  Not to give up...but to find something in common with the bullies.

The best thing to do is talk to our kids, let them know we are there to help! Communication is always key to every good relationship.  Share this with your kids, or just talk to them about bullies...you never know, they might be dealing with it now or know someone who is.  It just might help them turn the situation around!!  That is my hope anyways!  If we can touch one person's heart....weather it be the victim or the bully, make them think about what is going on and how they can change it or stop it....that will make it all worth it to me!

What a lovely venue and a great turn out!  Kelsey got interviewed by Jamison Reeves for INd TV, she did a great job answering his questions. The film was shown on the BIG screen and it was LOVELY! The ladies did an amazing job as always!! Kelsey and I felt so lucky and special to be a part of this production!  Thanks again to everyone involved!

CSI "Freaks and Geeks" Episode 6, Season 12

Hey Guys....
So back in September I was lucky enough to get a chance to work 2 days on set of CSI!  It was surely a blast!! My 1st day on set I worked 11 1/2 hours. Amazing, because it totally didn't feel like I was there that long....see what happens when your having a BLAST!!  I met some other amazing actors or course, and made some new friends!  I had a lovely chat with Ted Danson. He said he loved my tattoos and his favorite one was my tattoo on my upper thigh, which happens to be an old fashioned TV with the Munster's inside of it! :)

"CSI ONLY!!" On set of CSI 

The set we were on was AMAZING!! They told us that most of the things on set were from actual carnivals from days in the past...you could totally tell too!  They did an terrific job on the set, it was lovely!  The Crew and Cast all did so super and the Director, Alec Smight was so easy and nice to work with!

 Here I am...on set of CSI on my 2nd day Sept. 27, 2011

My 2nd day on set was another super day...I was on set that day for 8 1/2 hours. Again, hardly felt like I was there that long. It was an experience I won't soon forget.  In fact, I miss being on that set and have since dreampt about it. The cherry on the top of the ice cream sundae...I was contacted by the casting agency and they said I have earned my 1st SAG voucher!!! Yippie skippy...1 down 2 more to go!!! ;)

CSI "Freaks and Geeks" Episode 6, Season 12 aired on CBS TV on November 2nd, 2011 at 10/9c.
Thank you to everyone for all the sweet comments and message...and texts about spotting me on CSI!  It really made my day!  I appreciate all the support from everyone!!
